“Call for Hope”
So this is one of the reasons I haven’t been posting often. This drawing is quite large (about 5 feet long…) so quite a bit of time went into it.
It’s kinda hard to see but the birds are coming out from under her eyelids, the child in the cave, silent, only the birds calling, looking for a way out. Often children in abusive situations have don’t know how to ask for help, or are afraid of asking for help. Sometimes the only plea they have is through the fear, sorrow, and anger in their eyes.
