“The biggest little sister sleeps at last”
Righto, I posted the charcoal drawing while it was in progress earlier, and saddly, this is a really bad photo, but it gives the idea. I’m posting it now because I don’t know if I’ll ever finish this. I lost interest. The only thing I miss is the peaceful look on her face.
The figure is dead, finally at rest. The branches have broken themselves to cry for the fallen, the face is torn away to expose the fact that the figure oozes the same matter as the trees. They are made of the same thing, and the body, like a fallen cottonwood, sprouts up into new life.
