“Out of body experience”

This drawing is over 6 feet high… I wish there was a picture with me standing next to it to give you a sense of scale.

This is a hard one to talk about honestly. When I was a child and really terrible events would happen to me I would have out of body experiences. So the eye is the actual person experiencing the event, and the child swimming is that same person, having the out of body experience. The seaweed reaches up and trys to drag the child down, the tadpoles are eaten by the frogs (their parents) and the fantasy is almost as horrifying as the reality.

This was really hard for me to work on.
